Marc-André Tarte is cruising around EU shooting the pilot episode for “The Retarte Show”: A behind the scenes look at snowboarding in Europe starting the upcoming 2010-11 season. After covering a few events like this years Air&Style, he just covered a 20m gap session in Alta Badia, Italy, the same day he picked up a new Nitro Team board. Check out his stomped Cab 7 indy shot below from photographer Rudi Wyhlidal.

Earlier this day everyone was afraid to jump the rock hard gap. But someone had to… The morning fruit was starting to move in Marc’s stomach which forced him to the toilet. There came a big relief but there was still a little bit left in there when Marc first overshot the landing. Result… well lets just say that if this jump was into the Acrobag he would still have clean pants.

Take a ride with the Italian Olympic Snowboard Team as they shred the halfpipe, hit the AcroBag and hang out at the O Park! Italian Coach Roberto Moresi, and riders Manuel Pietropoli and Giorgio Ciancaleoni train on the 22 Monster Pipe and throw down in the Acro Bag, as well as a little steez on an Otsego Golf Cart!

For many of the Olympic hopefuls training at the Otsego Club & Resort the past several weeks, learning medal-winning tricks meant trusting their lives to a giant airbag.

As you can see we had an airbag for us to train on, kindly brought to the resort by Marc-Andre Tarte’s company (yes, you read well) Acrobag. Straight away, Arthur (Longo) and I were working on our doubles and superman front flips, you can check out this little video. We even had a couple sessions with Marc! It was so much fun to meet him again after all his incredible riding years.
