The first ever mountain bike progression session took place with the AcroBag at Britannia Beach along the Sea to Sky corridor. The beautiful vista of mountains and ocean was balanced by the action of people learning all sorts of new tricks on the bikes. It was epic and everyone loved the AcroBag and how much it had helped their riding.
On Monday August 16th 2010, AcroBag will be hosting a FREE drop in session to hit the AcroBag on mountain and BMX bikes. It will be hosted at Brittannia Beach (visit http://goo.gl/maps/J83g for a map) which is between Squamish and Vancouver on the Sea to Sky Highway. It is a beautiful zone with a incredible view of the ocean and mountains. It great incredible at sunset and we think that is when the best pictures are going to come out. There is a huge in-run so there will be no issues with speed hitting the jump. There are also trials MX trails and a bunch of cool cliff features around so it’s not just the bag to be hit!
Be sure to come on Monday afternoon (looking to start around 3-4pm) and get a session in on the AcroBag! It’s time to learn those new tricks you’ve been dreaming about!
The AcroBag has been a hit at Momentum ski camp with campers and coaches learning all sorts of new tricks and progressing their riding to the next level. Watch this video to see them in action!
Summer camps have been getting into the swing of things and Momentum Ski Camps is no exception. This is their first summer using the AcroBag to train and given it’s popularity with campers, it won’t be the last either!
Justing Lamoureux has been snowboarding since my first international competitions in the late 1990’s and he just loves hiking the AcroBag time and time again. Justin is a well calculated machine. He films himself ride to study and coach himself. A little bit like a hockey player during playoffs Justin did not shave for a while before the Vancouver Games.
Take a ride with the Italian Olympic Snowboard Team as they shred the halfpipe, hit the AcroBag and hang out at the O Park! Italian Coach Roberto Moresi, and riders Manuel Pietropoli and Giorgio Ciancaleoni train on the 22 Monster Pipe and throw down in the Acro Bag, as well as a little steez on an Otsego Golf Cart!
As you can see we had an airbag for us to train on, kindly brought to the resort by Marc-Andre Tarte’s company (yes, you read well) Acrobag. Straight away, Arthur (Longo) and I were working on our doubles and superman front flips, you can check out this little video. We even had a couple sessions with Marc! It was so much fun to meet him again after all his incredible riding years.
